Barista Training Courses

The aim of this course is to provide participants with specialist skills and knowledge in one of the major growth areas of the hospitality industry – the beverage sector. On completion of this course, participants will be qualified as a Barista.

This is a short 5-day course where participants will develop the skills to make various types of coffees, teas and drinks that are regularly prepared for customer in coffee shops, cafes, hotels, and restaurants. Participants will learn about coffee, where it is grown, how it is processed and how it arrives ready for grinding and brewing. Participants will become aware of the importance of good customer service and how to provide this.

On completion of this qualification, candidates are ready to progress into employment.
